Robert Cherry Obituary
Robert Earl Cherry, age 71, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family November 22, 2023. He was born May 26, 1952 in Batavia a son of Bernard "Benny" and Dorothy (Gilliatt) Cherry and was a lifetime resident of this area.
Bob started work at age 16 and eventually retired from Delphi in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, making and selling birdhouses, mowing the lawn, taking golf cart rides to the Royalton Airport with his dogs and sitting on the back deck enjoying the grandkids swim in the pool. Mr. Cherry was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law: James and Sue Cherry, his brother: Thomas Cherry and his sister: Virginia Roth.
He is survived by his wife of 50+ years Sharon (Bedford) Cherry, his children: Tammy "Rodney" Condren of Newfane, Patricia "Thomas" Jankowski of E. Amherst, Tina (Kevin Muphy) Kelley of Gasport, his siblings: Beverly (Edward) Earle, Donna (Rick) Kimber, Danny Cherry, brother-in-law: Robert Roth, his grandchildren: Aaron Shattuck, Nick Condren, Thomas and Kayleigh Condren, Austin and Madison Kelly, Carson Jankowski, several nieces and nephews and his good friends: John and Judy Willis. He will also be missed by his 2 chihuahuas: Lola and Sophie.
The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street-Gasport, MONDAY from 4-7 only.
