ROBERT CHRISTIANSEN 03/06/1935 - 09/17/2025 Robert Christiansen of Mission, Texas, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Maynard Lutheran Church in Maynard. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Robert Dale Christiansen was born March 6, 1935, in Maynard to Septer and Loretta (Brennan) Christiansen. He grew up in Maynard, joined the Navy after school. After a honorable discharge he moved to Minneapolis. On June 22, 1957, he married Beth Lavonne Harbour in Maynard. To this union three children were born. He lived in Coon Rapids most of his married life until moving to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1995 and after retiring to Mission. Robert worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for many years until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by daughter, Susan (Ray) Barker; son, Charles (Jenny ) Christiansen; 12 grandchildren: Heidi, Nathan, Carrie, Amber, Annie, John, Kaity, Mikala, Ashley, Allie, Courtney, and Brooke; 16 great-grandchildren: Brody, Brayden, Ayla, Addelyn, Haley, Riley, Easton, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Elaina, Chloe, Ellenora, Roman, Carolyn, Tatum; Freija and three sisters-in-law, June Christiansen, Doris Smith, and Mavis Keilen. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Beth in 2009; son Robert; daughter-in-law, Yvonne; grandson, Matthew; three brothers: Harold, Winsel, and Donald; and two sisters: Evelyn and Betty.
