Robert Scott Clauser, age 56, of Asheboro passed away on February 13, 2025 at Randolph Hospice House.
Mr. Clauser was born in Charlotte, NC on February 10, 1969 to Ronald and Barbara Manus Clauser. Rob was a 1991 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. He attended graduate school at VCU in Richmond, VA where he earned his master’s degree in health administration in 1994. While attending VCU, Rob met the love of his life, Kerbi Waterfield. Rob was employed with Randolph Health for 21 years serving as the Vice-President of Physician Partnerships. He was a past president of the Randolph Rotary Club. He was an active member of Central Global Church where he previously served as Chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a devoted husband, proud dad and lifelong Tarheel fan. Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Clauser.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kerbi Clauser; sons, Benjamin Clauser of Asheboro, William Clauser of Asheboro, and Matthew Clauser of Asheboro; father, Ronald Clauser (Nancy) of Waynesville; sisters, Kathy Remley (Don) of Charlotte, Laura Shirey (Stuart) of Charlotte, Patti Ireland (Scott) of Lancaster, SC; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Central Global Church, 300 South Main Street in Asheboro with Rev. Lonnie Pittman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Global Church, 300 S. Main St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
