Robert Claussen Obituary
Naples - Robert Giles (Bob) Claussen, 84, of Naples, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Bob was born April 24, 1936 and raised in Chicago, the son of Clarence and Bernice Claussen.
Bob graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where he majored in mathematics. Bob worked in the computer industry for the next thirty years at General Electric/Honeywell, Prime Computer and Encore Computer. In 1988, Bob moved to Naples where he and his son, Chris, worked in land development.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving son, John Robert Claussen (Lisa Adams) of Swampscott, MA.
He is survived by the love of his life for 35 years, Norma M. Claussen (nee Corsetti); his father-in-law, Vincent J. Corsetti of Naples; and his beloved sons, Christopher (Kim) of Naples, Florida and Matthew Claussen of Stow, MA. He cherished being Bobo to his six grandchildren Charles, Nicole, Zachary, Miles, Justin & Michael and his great granddaughter Arielle. His adored, faithful four-legged companions await him.
Bob and Norma are devoted to their faith and to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Naples.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34108. Burial will follow in the church Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Bob's name to St John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.ShikanyFuneralHome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, Family Owned Since 1978.

Dear Norma and family, We were so saddened when we heard that Bob had died. He was such a great guy and a great friend. We have nothing but wonderful memories of our times together!! Bob lived life to the fullest, with love and compassion for everyone around him. We’ll miss him dearly. Please know that you have our sympathy, caring and love. Bob always had a smile on his face. We so enjoyed spending time together with Bob and Norma. Lots of laughs. We will miss him but will remember the good times. We love you Bob ❤
