Robert "Butch" Clemmens

Robert "Butch" Clemmens married Marlene Fowler, a registered nurse, on March 14, 1970. Butch has 2 sons, Christian, born in 1978 (Alex) and Matthew, born in 1985 (Alison). Loving grandfather of Wilson, born in 2016 and Victoria born in 2022. Devoted brother of Kenneth Clemmens and Mary Kay Minsker.

Butch attended St. Matthews School during his grade school years, spent his high school years at Loyola Blakefield and entered University of Baltimore for college, where he graduated with a BS in Business.

In the mid 1980's Butch started his own company, named Standard Equipment Company, which was a John Deere construction equipment franchise. Standard Equipment Company was successfully run by Butch for 30+ years, until he sold the company and retired in his early 70's. In retirement Butch was an avid golfer and fisherman. He also enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 1-3 PM, where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM at the family owned Ruck-Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (at beltway exit 26). If anyone would like to share a memory or story of Butch, you will have the opportunity after the small service. Remarks can be either prepared or in the moment.
