Robert "Lee" Coburn, 79, of Lower Paxton Township; passed away on Friday, November 14th 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born on December 5th 1945 in Cornwall, England and was son to the late Richard and Ruby (Johns) Coburn. In addition to his parents, Lee was predeceased by his sister, Tammy Gebhart.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Pat (Sheely) Coburn, sons, Craig and his wife Margaret, Scott and his wife Abbey, a daughter, Kelly and her husband Thomas Swank; grandchildren, Nicholas and his fiancé Josselin, Joseph and his wife Heather, Alex and his fiancé Morgan, Casey and her husband Joe, Isabella, and Camden; great grandchildren, Marion and Archie as well as his beloved dog Coby.

Lee was the Transportation Coordinator for the Central Dauphin School District for 30 years. In his retirement, Lee kept busy delivering new fire trucks for KME to fire departments across the country.

Lee's true passion was the fire service, where he proudly served for 55 years. He began his volunteer fire career with Engine 8, Mount Pleasant in Harrisburg from 1965 – 1976, serving as a Lieutenant from 1976 – 1988. Lee continued his service with the Progress Fire Company, Station 32, where he attained the rank of Assistant Chief. After moving to Lower Paxton Township in 1988, Lee joined the Colonial Park Fire Company and served as Deputy Chief and Assistant Chief from 1991 – 2016 where he coordinated vehicle maintenance, public education, and firefighter training. Lee also taught Public Safety at Harrisburg Area Community College where he used his experience and leadership to teach future firefighters.

He found great joy in restoring hot rods which allowed him to bring old engines back to life and share his love of cars with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 12:00 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 4200 Londonderry Road Harrisburg, PA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 pm. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Harrisburg, PA. will follow the church service.
