Life story written by his family. He was a man to be remembered by all. Robert (Bobby) Clayborne Cole Jr, 73, of Whiteford, MD passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 9 am in his home. He was surrounded by his family and his wonderful nurse Karen Sommer.
Born in Havre De Grace, MD to his loving parents Robert C. Cole Sr. and Elizabeth (Lee) Cole. They taught him the importance of a strong family bond. He had a strong work ethic which was developed by his Uncle Charlie Cole of Rising Sun, MD. He is what some would call a "Renaissance Man", able to achieve any task he set out to do.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Eva Delp-Cole, daughter Bobbie Jo Cole (fiancé Vince Corkadel), three granddaughters, Kayla, Aubrey, Hannah Williams and his two loyal dogs Lola and Bear. Also survived by his three sisters Judy Valenzuela (Rick) of Alabama, Darla Snyder (John) of Cecil County, MD, Candy Absher (Raymond) of Drumore, PA and 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
Bobby was a man of his word with a generous heart. He had an unmistakable and unforgettable laugh. He enjoyed his family, friends, hard work, classic cars, cookies and Rice Crispies. It is impossible to deduce Bobby's passion for life to a few words, so I will end with; Bobby Cole you will be remembered.
A memorial will be held in his honor at Faith Community Chapel (FCC) 424 Broad St. Ext. Delta, PA on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate contributions to may be made in his honor to his church at the above address.
