Robert J. Conley, 80, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at ECU Medical Center.
Robert was born on July 13, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late William Joseph and Evelyn Marie Conley. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves for six years. A hardworking and creative man, he spent more than 40 years as a talented graphic artist, sharing his skills and vision with all who knew his work. He was also a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, where his craftmanship and dedication were deeply valued.
For over 25 years, Robert was married to the love of his life, Annamarie. Their marriage was a loving partnership full of laughter and devotion. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working in his garden, and showing off his skills by making custom signs, especially for birthdays. Robert loved watching basketball and UFC, relaxing in his favorite sweats, and spending time enjoying good food. Cooking shows and house flips were among his favorite programs. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever held close by those who knew and loved him.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife Annamarie Conley of the home; children, Karen Hendrickson (Eric) of New Jersey, Lisa Freeman (Wade) of Virginia, Chuck Copsetta (Angelique) of New Jersey, Michelle Watson (Ed) of North Carolina, Tineke Allison of New Jersey, and Dustin Conley (Sara) of Florida; brothers, Bruce Conley (Cheryl) of New Mexico and Joe Conley (Kathy) of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
