Mr. Robert Cole Conley, 43, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He was born on October 1, 1982, in Swainsboro to Robert Lee Conley, Sr. and Kathy Conley. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Conley, Sr.; daughter, Cadence Nicole Conley; and maternal grandmother, Sally Robertson.
Robert loved being a mechanic and working with tools. He put a wrench in his hand at five years old and never put it down. He loved to make jokes and make anyone laugh. Robert enjoyed being at a racetrack and being in a racecar. He loved his family. He was a proud father and grandfather. His memories will be treasured forever, and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughters, Alley Conley of Swainsboro, Joy Grace Conley of Rockledge; mother, Kathy Conley; grandchildren, Chance Martin, Presley Martin; sisters, Jennifer Thompson, Bridgette Roberts (James), Jenny Cox (Jerry), all of Swainsboro, Robyn Cumbee of Twin City; brothers, Robert Conley, Jr. (Kevin) of Columbus, OH, Henry Hall of Swainsboro; special friend, Wendy Hadden of Dublin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverends Joe Bedgood and Arthur Conley officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
The Pallbearers will be Terry Cox, Jerry Cox, Jr., Tyler Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Aaden Cumbee, Nathan Roberts, J.J. Williams, and Mitchell Conley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chance Martin and Raylon Cumbee.
The family will be gathering at 279 Tate Youmans Road, Swainsboro, GA. 30401.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Robert Conley C/O Chapman Funeral Home, P. O. Box 559, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
