Anna Minervini

Anna Vincenza Minervini, 90, of Little Ferry NJ, peacefully passed away November 20, 2023. She was born July 26th 1933 to Angelo Sallustio and Lucrezia Agnese in Molfetta, Italy. As the eldest of 8 children, she became nurturing and fostered a loving relationship with her siblings that she carried with her once she had a family of her own. In 1956 Anna married the love of her life, Michele Minervini, and shortly thereafter had 3 daughters, Maria, Lucrezia, and Angela. Both Michele and Anna sought to give their children a new life and moved to the US/New Jersey in 1974. She worked as a seamstress in Union City, NJ. She is survived by her three daughters, three son in-laws (Marco, James and John), six grandchildren (Anthony, Jamie, Stephanie, Joseph, Michael, and Francesca), and two great grandchildren (Giuseppe and Jacob). Anna is remembered as the loving matriarch to her family. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and watching her beloved soap operas. Most of all, she shared her love of cooking by feeding her family delicious food and baked goods.
May Anna Minervini rest in peace and may her memory be cherished by all who knew her and loved her.
Family will recieve friends Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Monday 10:00am Prayer Service at the funeral home thereafter Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
