Funeral services for Robert Nathan Creamer, 85, will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana followed by a private family burial. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Andrew Brewster.
Robert was born on September 17, 1938 in Campti, Louisiana to Hughlon and Lorraine Creamer and passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Robert was in the Unites States Marine Corps for seven years and the owner of Creamer Furniture for 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale Creamer and Donald Creamer and sisters, Virginia Dale and Laverne Lawrence. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Creamer of Lake worth, Texas and Brian Creamer of Bossier City, Louisiana; step-daughters, Cindy Baso of Blanchard, Louisiana and Linda Strickland of Ida, Louisiana; sisters, Beth Rives of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Judith Creamer of Florida; nephew, Ronnie Creamer of Blanchard, Louisiana; nieces, Pam Fondren of Blanchard, Louisiana and Gail Racine of Blanchard, Louisiana; longtime business partner, Rosie Williamson and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Honoring Robert as pallbearers will be Joshua Siron, Jonathon Siron, Seth Falgout, Greg Strickland, Eric Hadnot, Matthew Crnkovic and Jacob Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Shreveport, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
