Hilton Head, South Carolina - Robert James Crudden, Jr., child of God, husband, father, & friend, died peacefully at home on January 14, 2026, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Jan (Voigt) Crudden, daughters Stacey & Erin, brother Philip & sister Arlene. He was preceded in death by his brother David. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bob was a graduate of Westminster College & spent his career in commercial lending, serving communities in banks throughout Pennsylvania. As a devoted man of faith, he shared his financial expertise in support of ministry & singing in numerous church choirs. A Celebration of Life will be held January 31 at 11 a.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church, Hilton Head, SC. Livestream available at www.providencehhi.org/worship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Legacy Fund of Providence Presbyterian Church or MiraSol Hospice Care.

Jan, We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We have many fond memories of times we spent together in Chambersburg and how fond Bob was showing off his train set in the basement. When you moved our son David bought several of the pieces Bob was selling. It was always a pleasure singing anthems with Bob. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.
