Robert D. "Dale" Crytzer

Struthers--Robert Dale "Dale" Crytzer, 76, of Struthers, passed away peacefully Monday, March 2, 2026 after a hard-fought battle with dementia.

Dale was born July 7, 1949 to the late Ralph and Margaret Hlavcak Crytzer. He was raised in North Jackson and is a graduate of Jackson-Milton High School.

Dale was an extremely hard worker his entire life, starting young on his family farm. He began his professional career as a Commercial Technician at Dominion East Ohio Gas, where he retired after 35 years. Upon retirement from the gas company, Dale continued working on gas-lines. He always helped any friend or family member that needed him. Dale loved to keep busy and lend a hand.

Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, drinking beer, and watching all Cleveland Sports. All

of these things left him disappointed at one time or another.

Dale leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years, Carol Rivello Crytzer; children, Wes (Sandy) Crytzer, Dawn Domitrovich, Shelly Crytzer, and Jessica (Brian-his buddy) Hallquist; seven grandchildren, Nick, Christian, Gabriella, Josh, Cole, Brooke, and Brian; sister, Kathy Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph Crytzer; and sister, Virginia Buzzelli.

Dales' family extends heartfelt gratitude to the incredible caregivers and staff at Ohio Living Hospice, and at Maplecrest nursing and Rehabilitation in Struthers, whose compassion and care brought comfort in Dales' final year, especially to his STNA, Jen, whom he enjoyed chasing down the hallways in his wheelchair.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a 4 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
