Robert Cummings

Robert O. Cummings, 76, of East Falmouth, passed away peacefully at Falmouth Hospital on November 11, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Connie Cummings and son of the late Oliver and Evelyn Cummings.
Robert graduated from Rockland High School and attended Cape Cod Community College. He also served in the United States Coast Guard. Robert was an avid golfer and loved working as a golf starter at the Wianno Golf Club which is every golfers retirement dream job. He enjoyed being outside soaking in the sun and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was deeply loved and followed around by his little buddy, Mason. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Connie, Robert is survived by four children, Rebecca Cummings, Michelle Rogers and husband Joseph, Christie Velardo and husband Garrett, Tony Manfredi, two sisters Lorraine Cummings and Marilyn Cummings of Sandwich, three brother-in-laws Steve Seymour and his wife Chris, Johnny Seymour and his late wife Kathy, Sonny Seymour and his wife Donna, his sister-in-law Margaret Gauthier and her husband Don, and his four grandchildren Kenzie, Jackson, Brynlyn, Connor, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Chapman Funeral and Cremations 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee, on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm. Burial will be private.
