Robert "Bob" Cupp, age 92, late of Mokena, IL, passed away peacefully. A proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, Bob lived a long life marked by loyalty, humor, and a deep devotion to family.
Bob was the beloved husband of Joyce (née Werner) Cupp, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He was the cherished father of Rachael "Punk" (Allen) Rutherford, Rita "Sis" Cupp, and Bob (Marlene) Cupp.
He was a loving grandfather to Bobbi Gene (Ben) Hodge, Jason (Kelly) Wilson, Ted Wilson, John (Sarah) Cupp, the late Carrie Cupp, and Adam Sekula; and a proud great-grandfather of Ben, Tyler, Ellie, and Jaxen Wilson, Rylan, Kayla, Becca, and Nolan Cupp.
Bob was the dear brother of Sheila (late Steve) Johnson, and was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Eugene Cupp, and siblings Bill Cupp, Richard Cupp, and Patricia Cesarone.
A lifelong member of the Moose Club, Bob was known for his easygoing nature and the joy he found in simple pleasures. He was an all-around sports fan-especially when it came to the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears-and he had a talent for woodworking that he happily shared with those around him. Bob enjoyed life on his own schedule: a "good Manhattan" at 5 o'clock, and, just as faithfully, a bowl of ice cream and a cold beer at 8 o'clock.
