Robert D'Arezzo, known to many as Bob or Bear, was born October 19, 1956, to Albert and Eva D'Arezzo in Providence, Rhode Island. He passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 18, 2024, in Flagstaff, AZ.
Robert worked for many years as a respiratory therapist, which is where he met his loving wife, Jamy. They married on April 21st, 2009, and spent their years together traveling to different National Parks. In his early years, he worked as a truck driver where he met some of his lifelong friends and shared many good times together.
Robert lived in Rhode Island, Florida, California, Tennessee, and Arizona during his lifetime and was always planning his next adventure.
Robert had so many friends and loved ones throughout the country that he enjoyed experiencing new hiking trails, drinking endless cups of coffee and smoking cigars with. He recently fulfilled a long-time dream of seeing Breakfast with The Beatles in California, with Jamy by his side.
Robert was so proud of his family which included his loving wife Jamy D'Arezzo, mother Eva D'Arezzo, brothers Guy D'Arezzo and Anthony D'Arezzo (Yvette), son Jonathan Robert D'Arezzo (Laura) stepson Noah Taylor (Cyndie), stepdaughter Randi Taylor, grandchildren Quentin, Mia, Matty, Elijah, and Aliyah.
He is preceded in death by his father Albert D'Arezzo and sister Susan D'Arezzo.
Robert touched the lives of everyone he met and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the National Park Foundations in Robert's name using the following link: http://give.nationalparks.org/goto/RobertDarezzo

I spent many a day 1970 -1975 with Robert, Matt Dwyer, Dave Bird and Jimmy O'Rourke just being teenagers and having fun. Robert was a great guy!

Our sincerest condolences to you Jamy, Eva, Guy, Anthony and all your family and friends. Bob could make you laugh, light up a room, and make you feel special. That was his gift to me in our friendship. Playing little league baseball with him was a blast. I think we gave Al more gray hair because we were always clowning around on the field. I will surely miss him. RIP dear friend.
