Donna-Gayle Cimerol D'Arezzo Obituary
Donna-Gayle Cimerol D'Arezzo, 66, of North Smithfield, passed away January 29, 2025 in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John and Adrienne (Allard) Cimerol.
Donna graduated from North Smithfield High School as well as Rhode Island College, with a degree in Art Education. She worked as an art teacher in Norton, MA and the Cumberland School Department. She loved any opportunity where she could share her love for creativity and style. Donna was fiercely devoted in her faith and loved her family immensely. Above all else, Donna cherished being a mother.
Some of her most favorite things included spending time with family, including holiday visits with cousins, precious summers at the beach house, dancing, fitness, Jamaica trips and simply enjoying life to its fullest.
She is survived by her daughter, Maressa D'Arezzo of Providence; her brothers, Francis Cimerol, II of North Providence, and John Cimerol, of Narragansett; her sister, Bethany Zwick, of West Warwick; and her five nieces.
Her funeral will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Massachusetts. Calling hours are Thursday, from 4-7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
