The Man, the Myth, the Legend: gone, but probably still telling us what to do from above.
Bob, age 72, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Franciscan Health, Olympia Fields, IL. Bob was born in Evergreen Park, IL to the late Clyde W. and Theresa C. (nee Zeiger) Daniels.
Preceded in death by his beloved Anita (nee Absher) Daniels; loving father of Robert (Randi) Daniels, James (Lindsey) Daniels, and Laura Daniels; cherished grandfather of Jaden, Tanner, Knox, Emelia, and Camryn; loved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Bob was a semi-retired Residential Window Technician and helped all those around him as “jack (sometimes master) of many trades.” He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the VFW Post 9545, New Lenox, IL. Bob was a passionate supporter of the military and fellow veterans. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as tending his fish, plants, and dogs at home.
