Robert Darling Obituary
He was born in Worcester in 1953, the son of the late John L. and Esther A. (Morrison) Darling and was a graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Technical High School, Upton.
A lifelong resident of Uxbridge, Bob was a truck driver with Atlas Pallet Co. in RI for many years. He loved to walk and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Joan L. Stevens of Uxbridge, John L. Darling, Jr. and his wife Carol of Cumberland, RI, James L. and his wife Joyce Darling of Blackstone, Susan E. White and her husband Bruce of N. Oxford, David A. Darling and his fiancée Sharon of Uxbridge, Cynthia A. Woods and her husband Mitch of Guilford, CT, Mary A. Knapp of Uxbridge, and Francis X. Darling of Uxbridge and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday April 7, 2022 from 9 – 10 AM in the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge.
Memorial donations may be made to the Uxbridge Firefighters Association, 31 South Main St., Uxbridge, MA 01569.

I would like to send you my sincere sympathy. I only knew Bob for a short time at Charlton Manor. My mother is a resident there and Bob always would stop and speak with her . He always had a smile on his face . We will miss him every day !!!

To Bob´s family we offer our sympathy and love and prayers to all of you. Betty especially would like to offer her prayers for Bob she walked with him at least twice a day on our beautiful grounds and sit outside and enjoyed each other´s company. So much was done for him to make him comfortable here. We were sad to see him go he spent many happy hours with us in the dinning room watching movies or tv. He often sat on the back porch with all of us. He loved his room and often enjoyed visits from us. He was fortunate to be here with us. May he Rest In Peace.
