Robert Thomas DeAngelis

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI - Robert "Bob" Thomas DeAngelis was born on August 21st, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, June 6th, 2024.
Bob had a profound love for the outdoors, unwavering devotion to his family, and a boundless zest for life. While everyone knew Bob's appreciation for Labradors (and that his Dog went everywhere with him), nothing compared to the love he had for his daughter Jesse, their bond an expression of unconditional love and memories that will last a lifetime. While we feel his time on earth was cut short, his infectious laughter and endless generosity left a permanent mark on everyone blessed to have crossed paths with him. May the memory of his love, laughter, and humor continue to brighten the lives of those fortunate enough to have been a part of his journey.
Bob was preceded in death by his Father Rocco DeAngelis; Grandparents Michael and Natalie DeAngelis and Samuel and Maddie Woods; and Brother-in-Law Anthony Laskey.
He is survived by his Mother, Jennie (Woods) DeAngelis; his beautiful Daughter, Jesse DeAngelis; a Son (in-law), Dane Miller; two Brothers, Ken (Gladys) DeAngelis and Rich (Pam) DeAngelis; two Sisters, Kathy Laskey and Karyl (Phil) Poirier; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you that carry forward his acts of kindness and embrace his memory by spreading love, compassion, and generosity in honor of Bob and always remember "It never rains on a good time; sometimes you just get a little wet."
A Celebration of Life, honoring Bob, will be held at the Third Base Bar on Sunday, June 9 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
