Robert Dickel Obituary
Robert Daniel "Dan" Dickel, 79, of LaVale, died March 11, 2026, at home.
Born October 18, 1946, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Burley) Dickel.
Dan was a graduate of Allegany High School and the University of Maryland.
He was proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Dan was a civil engineer.
He is survived by his daughter, Molly Barnett; sisters, Dena Albright and husband Jason, and Bonnie Burgess and husband Sean; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Ridgeley, on March 18, 2026 at 11 AM, with Rev. Daniel M. Price, Celebrant
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, where military honors were accorded by Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.
