Robert Lee Digsby

Robert Lee Digsby 73, of Charlotte, born October 8, 1952 passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. He was a husband/life partner to Niecy Wiggins. They shared 10 years together. Robert was born in Monroe, NC. and was the son of George and Jessie Digsby (both deceased). He left school to become a truck driver and worked for F.T. Williams trucking until it closed. Robert loved being a heavy equipment hauler truck driver for 43 years. He was a member of Morning Star Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robert loved to travel, especially going to the beach and will be remembered for his beautiful smile and loving heart. At time, his jokes were something else, but never meaning to hurt someone.

Robert is survived by his life partner Niecy Wiggins, one living daughter Crystaletina Digsby Faggart, four grandchildren Torrey and Denickolis Faggart (Crystaletina) Rhashad and Rhyne Holbrook and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Georgetta Thomas (Hazel Lee Thomas) and Darlene Stitt and brothers Fred Stitt, Fred Stitt III, Nathan Stitt and Curtis Eugene Stitt. Robert was preceded in death by his daughters Jessetta Digsby and Robin Lynetta Holbrook and a grandson Rhaheem Holbrook (Robin Digsby). Robert had a host of family and friends.

Any cards or flowers should be given to Crystaletina Digsby Faggart (Robert's Daughter).

A graveside service for Robert will be held Tuesday December 30, 2025 at 12:30 at Oaklawn Cemetery,1615 Oaklawn Ave. Charlotte, NC 28216.

Everyone is invited to join Robert's family for a repass dinner at 1:45 pm at Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Rd. Matthews, NC 28105.
