Robert Anthony "Robbie" Dixon, born on April 19, 1975, in Hazard, Kentucky, passed away on May 6, 2025, at Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. He was 50 years old. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, cherished by many who had the privilege of knowing him.
Robbie was the son of the late Billy Joe Dixon and Mary Day Dixon. He is also predeceased by his infant sister, Joy Heather, and his brother, Joey Dixon. Their memories will forever be held close in the hearts of those who loved him.
Robbie's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and farming. He found joy and peace in these activities, often sharing them with family and friends. Robbie was known for his warm spirit and unwavering kindness, qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his devoted sister, Tishia Dixon & Johnny Wayne Couch. In addition, he is remembered fondly by his aunt, Pam Dixon Cornett. Robbie's legacy lives on through his niece, Lindsay Gay, and her husband, Brandon, as well as his nephews, Tyler Dixon & Emily Joseph and Hunter Couch. He was also an adored great-uncle to Aspyn and Sutton, who brought him so much joy.
Robbie leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss his presence. His life was a testament to the joy of community, friendship, and the beauty of the natural world. He will be remembered as a man who valued family and friends above all else, leaving indelible footprints on their hearts.
Funeral: Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
Ministers: Danny Day, Harold Day, and Paul Baker
Interment: Day Family Cemetery, Smilax, KY.
Visitation: Sun. May 11th at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
