Robert Dolente

Robert F. Dolente, 71, of Bellmawr, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Arista Care at Cherry Hill, NJ.
Robert was born and raised in South Philadelphia, PA by the late Joseph Sr. and Edith (Desiderio) Dolente.
He was a mail runner for Hahnemann Hospital in Philly, as well as, a longtime driver for Septa in the streets of Philadelphia. Bob, literally knew every street like the back of his hand. He was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, supporting the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers diligently. A true Philadelphian, who loved his water ice and cheese steaks.
Bob threw some great parties, well known in the Philly area, as well as, his "Canada" parties in the North Bay of Ontario. He was the life of the party; everyone knew when he had arrived and all enjoyed his company.
Robert is predeceased by his wife, Erika G. (Gorman) Dolente in 2018, and his siblings, Joseph, Richard and Raymond Dolente.
He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his children, Jeremy Scope and his wife, Bailey, God-Daughter Megan Zebley, Miguel Ocasio and his wife, Natasia,, his grandchildren, JA JA, Mylise, Layla, Vincent, Destyni and Adalynn, as well as, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Mahaffey-Milano Funeral Home, 11 E. Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, NJ 08059. A funeral service will begin at 7:00pm.
