George Brown (Geo or Georgie) (1959 -2025) George Nicholas Brown, 65 of Westville, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on 04/13/2025.
George was born in Camden, NJ and graduated from Gloucester County Vocational and Technical School in 1978 with an interest in horticulture. He resided in Mt. Ephraim, NJ for over 40 years and worked for Woolworth's and Waste Management. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attained the honors of the Fourth Degree. George loved animals and rescued both of his dogs, Harley and Lucky, from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter (GCAS).
George was a passionate bowler and participated in two leagues for over 20 years. An avid fan of most sports, he especially loved the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks. George enjoyed fishing and vacationing to Cancun, San Diego, and cruising the Caribbean, even if it meant going with his sister. George was a faithful regular and beloved patron of his favorite local diners.
George was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Florence Pezzato, and is survived by his daughter Jessica, his sister Laura, and his brothers David Brown and Joseph Pezzato. In addition, he is survived by nieces Rebecca, Kirsten and Nancy, and nephews David, James and Jonathon.
A memorial service will be held for George on Tuesday 04/22/2025 at Mahaffey - Milano Funeral Home, 11 E. Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, NJ 08059 from noon to 1:30. George overcame many obstacles throughout his life and deeply cared about helping others; therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or GCAS would be greatly appreciated.
