Robert Donaldson Obituary
Robert W. Donaldson ( Rob ), 82, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Church, 1112 N. Grand Street, Amarillo, Texas 79107 at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, 11/12/2025.
Robert was born September 10, 1943, in Holden, Massachusetts, to Robert S. and Helen (Wales) Donaldson.
Robert, a Teamster in Amarillo, Texas, worked for many years for Consolidated Freightways. He then started his own business, R.W.D. Transport, as an owner operator for 15 years until his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed traveling very much.
He is preceded in death by both parents, brother David A. Donaldson, and brother James Donaldson, who are resting in Rutland, Massachusetts.
Survivors include his loving wife, Christine, of the home. Two sons, William Donaldson and Eric Donaldson of Amarillo, and eight grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Church, 1112 N. Grand Street, Amarillo, Texas 79107.
