At the age of 79 years, Robert Scott Donohue Jr. of Warwick passed peacefully at the Hope Health Care facility on January 15, 2026. A longtime financial advisor he was respected for his commitment to serving his clients honestly and in their best interest for 55 years, first at the former InBank in Providence, most recently at RBC Wealth Management, and prior to that at JMS, Brown Lisle Cummings, Barclay Investments, First National Bank of Boston, and Shawmut Bank in Boston. He served as Chairman of the Warwick Board of Public Safety under Mayor Lincoln Chafee from 1993- 1998 which included instituting best financial measures and practices for the benefit of both City employees and taxpayers.

Raised in North Kingstown, he graduated from NKHS in 1964, attended the USNA Annapolis prior to graduating from the University of Rhode Island and later attaining his MBA from Bryant University.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Robert and Louise Donohue, brother James Donohue, and son Peter Donohue. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years Barbara (Bouclin) Donohue, son Derek Donohue and his wife Julie of Fair Haven, NJ, Elizabeth Humphrey and her husband Dan of West Simsbury, CT, grandchildren Margo, Ellery, and Addison Donohue , Drew and Abby Humphrey, brother- in -law Edward Bouclin, his wife Marilynn, nephew Ryan Bouclin his wife Jordan and many valued decades long friends and colleagues. Bob will be as greatly missed as he will be lovingly, fondly, and respectfully remembered.

His life will be honored at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick RI on Saturday, January 24th. A reception will immediately follow. Visiting hours are omitted and burial will be private.
