Robert Tedrick "T" Dough

Robert Tedrick Dough, born June 20, 1988, passed away on November 24, 2025.

Tedrick, known to many as "T", was a man with an extraordinary heart and a deep love for God. His greatest gift was the way he loved people. He had a deep well of compassion and a natural kindness. He was loyal to the core and loved others deeply and without hesitation.

To know Tedrick was to experience that love firsthand. He had a way of showing up for people when it mattered most and when it was least expected. His empathy reached far beyond himself, and he made people feel seen, valued, and cared for in a way that left a lasting impression.

One of Tedrick's greatest joys in life was being on the water, out on his boat with his two yellow labs, Mercy and Little Girl, by his side. Whether it was early mornings or long days, any kind of fishing-any excuse to be out there-he felt at peace. Out on the water was where he found a quiet peace and a closeness to God that grounded him. It was where he was mostly himself.

Though our hearts are broken, we hold tightly to what he gave this world: kindness, forgiveness, loyalty, and a love that knew no limits. That is how he will be remembered.

Tedrick is survived by his parents, Macon and Amy Dough; his brothers, Sam Dough and Scylar Dough; his grandparents, Robert and Milah Dough, and Joe and Nan Willis; and his two beloved nieces, Shaylynn and Miley Dough. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ciara Tianne Dough.

He also leaves behind a large, close-knit family of aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives were deeply intertwined with his and who will continue to carry his memory forward. He leaves behind family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his presence and his heart.

A memorial service to celebrate Tedrick's life will be held on April 12 at 3:00 p.m. at Wanchese Assembly of God. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. The family will gather for a time of food and fellowship immediately following the service at the Wanchese Assembly of God Whole Life Ministry Center.

He loved deeply-and that love will never leave us.
