Robert E. Dubord

Robert Edward Dubord, 85, died peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Springfield, to the late John Oliver and Sarah (Barrett) Dubord, he was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Robert was a tile setter for Ayotte & King for 25 years, until his retirement. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Virginia (Wood) Dubord, their nine children; Teresa Burns and her husband Cary of Agawam, Christopher Dubord and his wife Vicki of East Lyme, CT, Robert Dubord and his wife Lisa of West Springfield, Joseph Dubord and his wife Paula of Wilbraham, Kenneth Dubord and his wife Karen of Warren, William Dubord of Wilbraham, Gregory Dubord and his wife Kelly of East Longmeadow, James Dubord and his wife Jennifer of North Attleboro and Rebecca Lorenzo and her husband Gil of Enfield, CT, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his brothers John and Norman and sisters; Doris Kowalczyk, Olivette McDonnell and Irene Stone. Robert’s Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 31st at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Visitation will precede the Mass on Friday from 8:30-9:30 AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
