Robert Duchesne Obituary
He was born in Lowell on July 26, 1931, and was the son of the late Arthur T. and Ida E. (Aubrey) Duchesne.
Robert was raised at 59 Doyle Ave with his sisters Lilian, Irene, and Pauline Duchesne. He served in both the Airforce and the Navy for 6 years. The Airforce is where he met the mother to his 4 children, Julia Ann Williams. He attended Boston University and obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering. He started his career with Eastern Airlines in 1963, as an aviation mechanic. Then continued his career with Northwest Airlines until he retired in 2003. He used his retirement to work on his property, and he loved gardening.
Robert is survived by his children Robert Stephen Duchesne, Michael Joseph Duchesne, Susan Marie Melo, Gayle Ann Duchesne, and his 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 12 pm to 3 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 12 pm at the chapel at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHAPEL. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My deepest condolences to Bob's wife of 58 years Kay Duchesne and his 5 children Susan, Michael Stephen Gayle and Catherine. So sorry for your loss cousin's he was a good man and I have many happy memories of our families ' times together
