Robert Gary age 67, on September 14, 2021 of Malvern, PA, formerly Long Island, NY. Lastly, his 4 grandchildren, Tanner and Olivia Smith, and Hudson and Hailey Dilmore, who he adored with all of his heart and enjoyed every minute of being their "Pa". Bob was an avid collector of many things. A great athlete in his early life. And had a successful career in the Nassau County Police Department for 36 years. He excelled at and enjoyed woodworking, fixing everything, and building a house in Vermont, single handedly with a six-foot ladder. Bob loved God above all. I am still trying to process the loss of Bob, he was a good boss and friend and his unselfishness in helping everyone at Fleet Service was greatly appreciated by myself and the rest of the work force. He had a great laugh a wonderful sense of humor and he knew how to put a person at ease when in his company. He was wise and smart in so many things. His love of carpentry and working with wood was his love, I look at the doll house cabinet he made for me the week after his retirement party and it brings tears to my eyes. He was a gentleman always and could hold his own with the best of them. He loved to metal detect we did it together on our lunch time and we had fun looking for the best treasure we could find, Bob you found the greatest treasure I hope one day I will find it as well. Rest In Peace My Friend And Coworker

I'm sorry about Bob's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Bob at NCPD Fleet Service Bureau from April 1991 to November 1998. Bob was a real gentleman, and very spiritual. We started a christian spirituality group at Fleet Service. We gathered for prayer on our lunch break. He loved his family, and being active in his church. Bob loved people!
Rest in peace Bob!
