Robert Eaton Sr.

Bob E. Eaton, 75, of La Marque, TX, returned to his wife's side, on March 3, 2025. He was born November 9, 1949, in Ogdensburg, New York, to Hilda Paonessa and Leon Eaton. Bob served in the military (Army) from August 12, 1970 thru February 22, 1972.
He worked as a machinist with Revec and Conhagan. Bob was a Member of the Baptist Church and the Texas Baptist Men, which he enjoyed greatly, as helping others was what he enjoyed, especially with the help and support of his wife. He enjoyed traveling to different places with his co-pilot and wife of thirty six years.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife: Mary Eaton; parents: Hilda and Leon Eaton; brothers: Joe Paonessa, Stanley Simmons, Ronald Simmons, Francis Eaton, William Eaton, and James Eaton; sisters: Hilda McKnight and Stella Hance. He is survived by his sons: Robert E. Eaton, Jr. (Marika), Wade Eaton; Daughter: Tanya Eaton; Grandchildren: Bradley Eaton, Daymon Eaton, Zackary Eaton, Collin Parmeter, Markel Latimer and Grace Latimer; brothers: Donald Eaton, Thomas Eaton, and Michael Eaton (Charity); sisters: Leona Sparks (Todd), Donna Secord (Ray), and Judy Ferrell; step daughters: Tonya Puentes (Johnny), Sally Schooley (Danny) and a stepson: Howard Johnston (Barbara); numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. A service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Dennis Johns officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster.
