Robert L. Elisech, Spaulding Township, passed away on January 4, 2026 at his home at the age of 79 years. The son of the late Michael and Frances (Siminski) Elisech was born October 28, 1946, in Saginaw. Rob married Catherine Sue Doyle on November 9, 1974; she predeceased him on January 24, 2018. He retired from Utility Contracting Company in 2009. Rob enjoyed going to the casino, gardening, and riding around the township in his golf cart. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are six children and their spouses, Robert and Nanette Elisech, Melissa Bargas; David and Kimberly Elisech; Deanna and Matt Nigl; Mandy and Chris Goodrow; Michael and Andrea Elisech; 26 grandchildren, Catherine, Courtney, Caitlyn, David, Gabby, Zach, Alex, Christian, Bella, Alayna, Matthew, Joshua, Andrew, Jacob, Lucas, Abby, Olivia, Samantha, Chase, Makayla, Michael, Emma, Robby, Ashlee, Dylan, Wyatt; 14 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Betty Lou Doyle, brothers and sisters-in-law Mike Doyle, Rick Saenz, Mary Doyle, Ted Doyle, Chris and Melody Doyle; good friend Arlene Pack.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Elisech, and Mike Elisech, father-in-law Mitchell Doyle; brothers and sisters-in-law Lynn Doyle, Pauline Saenz, Bonnie Doyle, and Rick Doyle; a good friend Don Pack.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at W. L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Jim Doran will officiate. Private burial will take place at Spaulding Township Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the funeral chapel from 11:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the wishes of the family c/o Deanna Nigl.
