Robert Dale Elliott, age 77, passed away on November 6th, 2025, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born in Berea, KY on May 29th, 1948, to the late Thomas R. and Dorothy Mullins Elliott. Bob enjoyed old country music, joking with and spending time with his friends and family. He volunteered at Saint Joseph Berea for over 23 years; he was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Bill Thompson and one nephew Jimmy Babuscio.
Bob is survived by three siblings, Kathy Bratcher and her husband Leonard of Berea, KY, Boyd Elliott and his wife Mi-Suk of Lakewood, WA, and Gayle Thompson of Mount Vernon, KY. Two nieces, Julie Campbell and her husband Steve of Honolulu, HI, and Vickie Babuscio of Fort Campbell, KY. Great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Ryan, and Alex Babuscio, Savannah and Hailey Campbell, and Ben and Emma Neppel.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon until the service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Miller officiating, you may view the service livestream at www.davisandpowellfuneralhome.com Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, KY. Pallbearers will be, Leonard Bratcher, Colton Hunley, Donnie Hunley, Brad Hylton, Jeff Himes, and Kenny Bratcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Granville Isaacs, Timmy Isaacs, Fred Cox, Bennie Gay, and friends from Saint Joseph Berea.
