Robert J. Emeott Carrollton, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, Age 96 years. Son of the late Francis and Inez (Champlin) Emeott. Robert was born June 9, 1928, in Hemlock, Michigan. He was very proud to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post # 439. He married Joyce Helen McKinney, his loving wife of 52 years, on January 14, 1950. She predeceased him June 6, 2002. Robert was a commercial electrician at Nelson Electric for 38 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Board of Education for Carrollton Township from 1976 to 1983, additionally he served as a Cub Scout Leader. Bob was known as "Bingo Bob" in the community for being an integral part of starting up the community bingo benefiting the Carrollton Athletic Association fund raising efforts. Bob enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, dirt biking, and was a fantastic handyman. Bob built their family home in Carrollton with the help of only one sub-contractor. Bob was a huge Detroit Tiger and Detroit Lions Fan! Bob was always helping others in any way that he could! His greatest joy was spending time with his family; Children, Grandchildren, & Great Grandchildren alike!
Surviving to cherish Bob's memory are three sons and their spouses, James and Nanette Emeott, Midland, MI; John and Mindy Emeott, Freeland, MI: Bobby and Lynn Emeott, Aurora, CO; a daughter-In-law, Susan Emeott, Columbia, TN; ten grandchildren, Christopher and Annette Emeott, Matthew and Leeann Emeott, Megan and Tyler Brondyke, Brandon and Emily Emeott, Brianna Emeott, Tiffany and Jason Nelson, Todd Emeott and Michael Rabinowitz, Eric and Lacey Emeott, Emily and Jonathan Lundstrom, Elyssa and Matthew Ammon; twenty-two great-grandchildren; his brother, Bill Emeott,
Saginaw, MI; many nieces, nephews, friends, and his very special friend Barb Kuschinsky. Bob was preceded in death by his son Ronald Emeott; four sisters, Dorothy, Mary Katherine, Jane, Beverly, and three brothers, Red, Ken, and Donald Emeott; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Funeral Service will take place 12:00 noon Thursday, October 24, 2024, at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Michael Korte will officiate with Military Services conducted by the U.S. Navy and American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
