Robert Endicott

Robert Lee Endicott, born September 3, 1959, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 66. On that day, our dad gained his wings and was welcomed home into Heaven.

Robert (Bob) was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Harrison Junior Endicott and Lena Pearl Endicott. He grew up alongside his siblings in Detroit and on Harsens Island-places that helped shape his strength, independence, and love for the outdoors. He graduated high school in 1978 and went on to proudly serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. During his service, he was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, and Fort Irwin, carrying his sense of duty and resilience throughout his life.

Fishing was more than a hobby to Robert-it was a true passion. He loved being near the water and had a gift for turning any fishing spot into a place of laughter and friendship, making friends wherever he went. He was also a devoted Detroit Red Wings fan and was well known for wearing the most outrageous outfits imaginable to proudly support his team. In his quieter moments, he enjoyed golfing and playing video games, especially on the weekends.

Robert shared 35 loving years with his fiancée, Terri Lyn Schoeninger. Together, they raised three beautiful children: Tanya Goodin (me), Kenny Endicott (Sarah Endicott), and Suzanne Schoeninger (Mike McArthur).

His greatest joy in life was being a father and a papa. He was blessed with many grandchildren-Haley, Anthony, Chevelle, Bryan,Scott,Aliya,Kaylee, and Nate-and six great-grandchildren, Elanora, Savanna, Colson, Anissa, Selene and Wyatt whom he adored beyond measure.

He is also survived by his brothers, Timothy Endicott and William Endicott, and his sister, Brenda Woodruff.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and several beloved brothers and sisters. Knowing him, they are probably all playing Yahtzee together right now.

This has been one of the hardest things we have ever had to write, but it is important to share who our dad truly was. He was strong, resilient, and courageous. He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He was our defender, our protector, and he loved his family fiercely and without hesitation.

When we think of our dad, we see him on a motorcycle, shooting hoops, laughing, and smiling. He was one hell of a dad and papa, and he will be missed more than words can ever express. We will continue to honor him by living the lessons he taught us and carrying his love with us always.

We love you, Dad. Until we meet again.
