Robert Charles Erb

Robert Charles "Bob" Erb, of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Bob was born in Orange, NJ on March 05,1932, the son of Ellen Auguste (nee Goedde) and Charles Herman Erb. He graduated from Maplewood High School then worked as a quality control engineer for Dart and Kraft in Paramus. Bob enjoyed sailing on Pine Cliff Lake and bowling. Bob met his future wife Evie, while bowling on a Tuesday night bowling league. They were married in Aiken, SC on May 1, 1985 and settled down in Augusta, GA where they lived for 7 years. After Bob's retirement, they moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Bob and Evie enjoyed vacationing along the coast of Maine, Isle of Palms, SC, and Jeykll Island, GA. Bob was a devoted Husband, Father, Step-Father and Grandpa. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Bob is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Evie. He is survived by his children Christopher of NJ, Robin Schneider of AZ and Karen Walker of NJ; his step-children Patricia Petrella and her fiancé Bill Meyers of FL, James Best of NJ and John Best and his wife Marie of NJ; his grandchildren, Jaime Petrella of TN, Julianne Daoud and her husband Joseph of VA, Hunter of NC, Matthew and his wife of AZ, Kimberly and her husband John of NJ; three great-grandchildren and his cousin Ellie Norman of NJ.
