Robert M. Estok Sr., age 80 of Edinboro and formerly of Fairview and Lake Panasoffkee, Fl, passed away on Sunday December 21, 2025, at the Erie VA Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Erie, on February 6, 1945, the son of the late Michael and Frances (Hall) Estok.
Bob served in the United States Navy and worked for many years in the construction and the automotive industry. Bob was an active member of the Fairview Fire Department in the 1970’s and 1980’s. He enjoyed hunting and most of all fishing with his wife Bea anywhere they could find fishable water. Bob also enjoyed spending time with his dog Trapper that included car rides.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Beatrice, in May 2024; sisters, Marian E Quinn and Lara Jean Simpson.
He leaves behind daughters, Kimberly (Tim) Mercer of Monroe, Tennessee, Stacey (Brian) Coburn of Cambridge Springs, Amy (Luis) Fernandez of Cambridge Springs; a son, Rob (Vicki) Estok of Edinboro; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers in-law, Paul Simpson, John (Lynn) Schmitt, and Scott (Tracey) Schmitt; sisters in-law, Susan (Bob) Winters, and Tammy Schmitt.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Erie VA Medical Center Hospice and Palliative Care for their services and dedication to the kind of care our dad needed for the short time he was there at the VA. We are forever grateful.
Services will be private per Bob’s request. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard.
