Graveside services will be Friday morning at 9:00 AM at Enon Cemetery. Rev. Demond Kennedy will officiate under the direction of Hartman Jones Funeral Home.
Mr. Etheridge was born November 18, 1937 in Liberty, MS to the late Robert Lee Etheridge and Emma Elizabeth Knight Etheridge.
Mr. Etheridge was a longtime local contractor for over 55 years. He was a Godly man and was a very talented well known musician most of his life. He loved cars and riding motorcycles and going fast. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was also a member of Charis International Church of God in McComb.
Mr. Etheridge was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Melissa Arena; and his sister Doris Ray Etheridge Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Jan Etheridge; three sons David Etheridge (Melissa), Brian Etheridge (Tish); Brad Etheridge (Danessa); Daughter Melanie Holman; grandchildren Lauren, Dana, Misty, Madison, Joel, Austin, Emma, Jason, Jeremy, Ashley, Kristen and Jordan; brothers William Clifton Etheridge (Lela), Terry Lee Etheridge (Gail); and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
