Robert "Bob" K. Evans, 80, died on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at WellSpan York Hospital.

He was the husband of Janet C. (Cooper) Evans, sharing 58 years of marriage.

Bob was born in Delta on November 25, 1944, son of the late Gilbert Cranmer and M. Elizabeth

(Pomraning) Evans.

Bob graduated from Kennard-Dale High School, Class of 1962. He served in the National Guard.

He was a communication technician for GTE/ Verizon at Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center,

retiring after 42 years of service. Bob was a member for over 50 years at Pine Grove

Presbyterian Church in Airville.

Following retirement, he took up farming and also enjoyed hunting. Bob loved watching his

granddaughters ride horses in rodeos and show their goats.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by two sons: Jeffrey S. Evans, and Michael T. Evans and

his wife, Debra; three granddaughters: Katelyn Evans (Lukas Shoff), Karina Evans, and Krystine

Evans (Mason Hartman); and his aunt, Elsie M. Cooner. He was preceded in death by his sister,

Carolyn J. Evans-Corder.

A viewing and service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the residence of Bob's

son, Jeff, 781 Kilgore Road, Delta. Viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., funeral service at 12 p.m.

with Rev. Kristine Hileman officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Following the service, the family would like to invite guests to a luncheon and social. Wagner-

Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
