Christopher Lewis Miller, 74, of East Hopewell Township, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Jeri (Heaps) Miller, with whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Born on February 9, 1951, in York, Pennsylvania, Chris was the son of the late Harry L. Miller, Jr., and Jeanne (Callahan) Miller. He was a proud graduate of Kennard-Dale High School, Class of 1969.

A lifelong farmer, Chris was deeply connected to the land, working tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family. During the winters, he supplemented his work with factory and machine jobs, always driven by a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication.

Chris had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid outdoorsman. He found joy in hunting, deep-sea fishing, golfing, and snowmobiling. Time spent at the hunting camp, Cowley Hill in Potter County, was especially meaningful to him. He also loved travel, with trips to Alaska and Myrtle Beach standing out as some of the most memorable highlights of his life.

Known for his warm and outgoing nature, Chris loved meeting new people and had a unique ability to connect with everyone he encountered. He was optimistic, full of life, and always ready with a story or a laugh. His love for playing cards and spending time with family and friends will be fondly remembered.

Chris was a faithful member of New Covenant Community Church, where he served as an Elder and Sunday School teacher. His commitment to his faith and church community was a cornerstone of his life.

In addition to his wife, Jeri, Chris is survived by his three children: Martin L. Miller and his wife Erin, Kenton C. Miller and his wife Susan, and Gina LoCricchio and her husband Giuseppe. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. Chris is also survived by his siblings: Angela Sechrist and her husband Donald, Kevin N. Miller and his wife Martha, and Mark A. Miller and his wife Susan.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Rd., Delta, PA 17314, on Friday, May 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, May 17, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Saturday at 5:00 PM, with Pastor Rodney Anderson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Covenant Community Church where it will be sent to Roatan Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministry"
