So many memories with Champ, whether skiing at Butternut basin, vacationing (Bob was our radio man) purchasing records (he introduced me to a guy name Eric Clapton.) We lost a great one!

I'm saddened to learn of Champ's passing and only wish I could have attended is celebration of life. Bob joined us in fifth grade at St Mary's in Lee and quickly became a friend of everyone around. I loved playing golf with Bob because he kept the rule book near at hand which definitely improved my game and any that had the pleasure of playing with him at Greenock CC. He was also a great inspiration having to endure his many trials all with the most positive attitude and a wonderful infectious smile. May he now be at peace.

In 8th grade at St. Mary´s School, Bobby threw a class party at his house. It was one of the best parties we all had ever attended. We played 45´s on the record player, danced, ate great food and drinks (non-alcoholic of course). It was the party of the year as we all had so much fun.
And the next day, many of us were on the First Hole Tee Box at GREENOCK CC talking about how fun it was before we all enjoyed our day playing golf. Bobby always won. He was a great golfer.

Bobby and I have been friends since 1st grade. You know the story about us. He never let me forget it whenever we saw each other. What great memories. I'm so happy we got to see each other at Aunt Noni's gatherings. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. I pray for him and all his family. Marie stay strong. He loved you and his family
