Robert McLure Fairleigh Iv

Robert McLure Fairleigh IV, 66, passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on January 23, 2022. He was born October 12, 1955 in Hopkinsville, KY and was the son of the late Robert McLure and Frances Garrott Fairleigh. Rob joined the family business and ran the Hopkinsville Monument Company with his father for many years. He also traveled doing monument restorations throughout the South. Among Rob's other interests were Fairleigh and Garrott family history, NASCAR, bluegrass music, reading and Ferrell's hamburgers.
Rob is survived by his sisters Winslow Fairleigh and Katherine Finnegan, his nephew Michael Finnegan (Jennifer), niece Laura Johnson (Daniel) and six grand nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and workers at Lifeskills/Pathways Unit at Louisville East Post Acute. They would also like to thank the Palliative Care and Hospice team at Baptist Health Louisville.
Funeral service will be held on January 27, 2022 at 12:00 noon CST at Grace Episcopal Church with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY.
