Robert (Bob) Fancher, 90, of Hornors Run Road, Shinnston, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was born in Shinnston on July 14, 1935, a son of the late Ernest Lorrien and Beulah J. Williamson Fancher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bonnie (Satterfield) Fancher.

Also surviving are their children, Robert L. Fancher; James A. Fancher; Stephen Charles Fancher and his wife Carol; John M. Fancher and his wife Misti; Heidi Thorne; and Ronda Swiger and her fiancé Mark McClain; Grandchildren, Annie Kate Fancher; Emily L. Rhodes; Jessica Fancher; Hannah Bryant; Jessica Cole and her husband Jared; Caleb Fancher and his wife Emily; Sarah Johnson and her husband Nick; Olivia Rose Fancher; Kevin Reece Stockton and his wife Melissa; Kelsi Fahey and her husband Braden; Joseph Kirtner and his wife Leslie; Travis Kirtner and his husband Ben Neff; Megan Griffith and her husband Ben; Alex Thorne and his girlfriend McKenzie Koon; Joshua Swiger and his wife Nicole; Jordan Arnold and her husband Garrett; Jacob Swiger and his wife Abby; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty and Helen. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Ryan Stockton.

Bob was the owner of Fancher's Fresh Meat for over 30 years, retiring in 2015. He had served in the US Army and the Army National Guard for over 9 years. He was a member of the Coons Run Baptist Church.

Bob enjoyed going to cattle sales, hunting, watching football, and chewing on his cigars.

Family and friends will gather at Bridgeport Cemetery on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. for a graveside service with Gregory A. Swiger presiding.
