Bob met the love of his life, Mary Jane Hannon, at a Newman Club social in 1968. He was immediately smitten because he asked her to go to Six Flags the next weekend. From their first meeting he continued to drive from Fort Worth to Dallas for two years. Bob proposed and they were married at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas in 1970. After the wedding, they moved to Fort Worth and shortly after started and raised their family there.
Bob and Mary Jane had three children: Robert Jr “Bobby” was born in July 1971, Jane in 1972, and John in 1979. Bob was so very proud of each of his children and showed unconditional love and support to each of them until his last breath.
