Robert (Whitey) Flad born on March 10th 1952 passed away on Sunday, August 24th surrounded by the love of his family. Robert took pleasure in the simple joys of life finding peace with nature in all of its forms.

He especially enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking and any activities that nurtured his desire to be one with nature. He was a true steward of the land.

Robert not only appreciated good food but was a talented cook and an excellent baker who loved to share his specialties with family and friends.

He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion.

Robert was a loving brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, friend and soul mate.

He is predeceased by his parents Harlan and Mary (Kopach) Flad and his brother Ron Flad.

In honor of his wishes, cremation will be private and there will be no services at this time.
