Robert D. Fletcher peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born in Coleman, Texas on April 15, 1944.
Robert will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. A dedicated truck driver for 61 years, Robert took immense pride in his profession and dedicated many years of his life to his career. Robert was not only a man of the road but also a caring family man. His cherished moments were often spent surrounded by family and friends, creating lasting memories. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and sitting on his front porch watching the deer graze.
Robert is preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa, grandson, Robert, and sister, Mary.
Left to cherish and honor his memory is his loving wife of 61 years, Beverly Fletcher; daughters, Melissa Curby (Randy), Michelle Lehmann (Terry), and Ashley Fletcher; grandchildren, Forrest (Amber), Devon (Talia), Kevon (April), Ryan (Hope), and Abigail (Nicholas); great grandchildren Chloe, Madison, Hailey, Addison, Avery, Gabrianna, and Wilder. He is further survived by his brothers Bruce (Connie), Rupert (Kaye), and sister, Tommie.
Robert will be missed forever and never forgotten. His legacy of dedication and love will resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
