Robert Fowler, age 37, of Mooresboro, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Mission Health in Asheville.
Robert was born Saturday, May 14, 1988 in Rutherford County. He worked as a Logger for over twelve years, having worked for Josh Lane Logging. Robert enjoyed dirt track racing and riding four wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Kay Hargett; grandparents, Bobby Fowler, Hattie Fowler, Junior and Louene Lane, Sylvia Dayberry and a step-grandchild, Remington Spicer.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Karen Fowler; his parents, Randy and Sharon Lane of Union Mills; step-daughter, Hannah Rose of Mooresboro; brothers, Josh Lane (Alex) of Rutherfordton, Travis Lane of Morganton, Nathan Hall of Union Mills, Joseph Nelon of Rutherfordton; sister, Tiffney Defresne of Ohio; step grandchildren, Brooklynn Morrison, Alexis Rose and Greyson Carroll; nephews, Grayson and Warren Lane; grandparents, James Hudson of Golden Valley and Pearl Cauthen of Union Mills.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 5th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
