Robert 'Bob' Friedman, 61, of Springdale, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Springdale. He was born on November 18, 1963, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Charles Anthony Friedman and Michaeline Jasinski Friedman. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert 'Bob' Friedman, a wild and free soul who embraced life with fire in his hair and adventure in his heart. He left us on September 25, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most. Known for his unmistakable red hair and even brighter spirit, Bob lived life on his own terms-boldly, passionately, and without apology. Whether he was deep in the woods with a fishing pole in hand, setting up camp beneath the stars, or simply sitting in stillness to feel the pulse of nature, he found beauty in every moment. For him, even silence carried the thrill of life. He was a man who thrived outdoors, where the air was clean and the path uncertain. Camping trips weren't just vacations-they were adventures. Fishing wasn't just a hobby-it was communion with the wild. He chased adrenaline not just in the rush of the moment, but in the quiet intensity of truly living. More than anything, Bob loved his family. He was fiercely loyal, endlessly loving, and always the one to bring laughter, mischief, or a quiet word when it mattered most. He taught those around him to live freely, love deeply, and never take a single sunrise for granted. Though he has left this world, his spirit remains in every roaring fire, every rushing stream, every open trail, and the people he loved most, who will carry forward his stories, his strength, and his untamable joy. Run wild, rest free. You are forever part of the wind, the trees, and our hearts. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Anthony Friedman and his lifelong partner LaVeda "Petie" Cantrell. Survivors include his mother, Michaeline Friedman, one daughter, Ashley Reece of Fayetteville; three siblings, Bill Friedman and wife Dixie of Sprigndale, Cindy Watkins and husband Roger of Springdale and Brian Friedman and wife Jenna of Ohio.
