We sadly announce the passing of Robert Leonard Galliera of North East, MD, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 26, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA, he created countless memories with his family and friends.
Robert was an accomplished electrician with the IBEW for 41 years. He will be remembered for his resilience and enthusiasm for life. He was an active member of the community and could always be relied upon by family, friends, and neighbors.
Robert had a passion for the water and loved to travel, especially his annual trips to Aruba, where he made lifelong friendships. An avid guitar enthusiast, Robert enjoyed sharing his love of music and attending concerts. He was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
He leaves behind his cherished children: son Robert Galliera (Janet) of Downingtown, PA, daughter Lisa Bartoszek (Michael) of Limerick, PA, son Christopher Galliera of Royersford, PA, and son Steven Galliera (Victoria) of Youngsville, NC. Robert was also a proud grandfather of four and a great-grandfather to two, who will all carry his spirit and memories forward. He was also survived by his longtime companion, Frances Napoli of North East, MD.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Galliera, and his parents, Albert and Jean (DeVita) Galliera.
Family and friends are invited for a celebration of Robert’s life at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM. We invite everyone who knew Robert to join us in honoring his life and sharing the love and laughter he brought to us all.
